family pictures can be one of the most stressful days for some. i just tell my clients to plan on just having a fun, playful evening together. i never tell them to “say cheese”. i direct the shoot in a way where you won’t even realize i’m getting the shots that i’m getting. lately i’ve had clients ask me about clothing. i usually just say to deck everyone out as if you are going to a family party. not too matchy-matchy, but stick to a color scheme… or not, just make everyone feel comfortable and be in something they love.
